Hello, beautiful. This Winter Citrus Rosewater Smoothie Bowl is just what you need to get yourself feeling back to normal. I love smoothie bowls in the morning and especially in the dead of winter. I’m in need of good, clean and fresh flavors to help me combat the day! This bowl means serious business.
Rosewater can be found in any health food and specialty stores. I have seen it a few times at regular retail stores as well. It’s packed with vitamins and fights anxiety, helps with digestion and promotes a healthy immune system! Um, yes please, says me. It’s actually pretty delicious too! It’s the new water. Here is a great article I read about rosewater and why you should drink it by Well+Good.
Actually, this Winter Citrus Rosewater Smoothie Bowl is more of a beauty bowl since it’s major players are rosewater, cucumber, strawberries, pineapple, and oranges. Did you know strawberries are packed with vitamin C? This bowl could basically be a mask from a spa.
But it isn’t and it tastes amazing. Like OH EM GEE good. This smoothie is perfect for winter time. I cannot think of a better way to start my day than with this large bowl of peachy colored perfection.
I’ve been fighting a pretty severe head cold lately, and I am so congested I can’t see straight. I feel so terrible and when I feel this way, I usually crave things that are good for me. This bowl has been my savior in helping me get back on my feet. I am not out of the woods yet, but I can tell that this recipe has helped give me a fresh start in the morning after an awkward night of sleeping propped up with my mouth open.
Can I just say how much I hate getting sick! I swear, I always get sick like this in January! Can’t we all just stay inside and not spread this thing anymore? I’m pretty sure I’m just one sneeze away from becoming “The Boy in the Bubble.”
At any rate, this Citrus Rosewater Smoothie bowl has way too many benefits to be overlooked. Doesn’t it look super pretty too? Hope you enjoy!
