Ingredients

Scale

24 jumbo shrimp, deveined and shelled

12 thin slices of bacon

1/2 cup butter

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1/4 cup hot sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

Place the deveined and shelled shrimp in a bowl and set aside. Cut the bacon slices in half crosswise and set aside. You might need to cut the fat off the larger bacon strips so it’s easier to wrap around the shrimp.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

In a small saucepan on medium-low, melt the butter slowly until just liquid. Add the Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, garlic powder, and paprika to the melted butter. Whisk to combine.

Line a baking sheet with foil and place a cooling rack on top.

Pour half of the buffalo sauce in the bowl with the shrimp and toss together. Take a half slice of bacon and wrap around the meaty part around the shrimp and place on the rack. Continue until all the shrimp are wrapped.

Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes. Before removing from the oven, turn the broiler onto high and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the bacon start to crisp. If you don’t have a broiler you can skip this step.

Remove the shrimp from the oven and give a final brushing with the leftover buffalo sauce.

Serve alone or with creamy blue cheese dressing.

Notes

Add more hot sauce if you like it spicy! I wouldn’t use more than 1/2 cup total.
